I was thrilled to have been part of a stimulating discussion on  “The Shifting Sands of the CX Professional" webinar last week!

Great to share the virtual stage with Diane Magers, Bruno Guimaraes, and our excellent MC Marlan Hardie.

We delved into some critical themes shaping our industry:

  • The evolution of CX roles to be enablers and orchestrates of change across the entire organisation.
  • The undeniable impact of AI, best leveraged as "assisted intelligence" to enhance, not replace, human-centric experience design.
  • The ongoing necessity for CX professionals to master the art of storytelling and demonstrate clear business value to leadership.

My view is that the future lies in a powerful blend of human empathy and AI-driven efficiency, leading to more personalised and effective experiences.  It's about AI being a supportive assistant to help us achieve our goals.

What's the most significant shift you've observed in the CX profession recently?
