Hi everyone!
I’m working on an EX engagement survey that includes a large number of open-ended questions — 33 in total — and I’m looking for the best way to analyze and display this data in a Qualtrics dashboard.
Previously, we had a simple setup with:
-
A response ticker
-
A word cloud
-
An emotion distribution in a pizza widget
This worked fine when we had only a few open text questions. But now, with so many, we've hit the widget limit in Qualtrics, and it's no longer practical to create separate visualizations for each question. On top of that, I feel this approach doesn't provide deep insights — it’s more of a visual placeholder than a useful analysis tool.
I’m wondering if anyone here has faced a similar challenge and could share:
-
How you handled large volumes of open-text responses in your dashboards
-
Any best practices or creative ways to summarize, group, or analyze the comments
-
Tips for making the dashboard more insightful and action-oriented, rather than just showing raw or surface-level text analysis
Any advice or examples would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance :)
