Hi everyone
Background: I have recently joined Qualtrics and will be working in the community team so you will see more of me around these forums. My background is in Ed tech with an interest in social learning. I have worked in the community space for the past 5 years and look forward to continuing to build this community with you all.
Interests: I am new to Experience Management as a category though I have worked a bit around understanding and (hopefully) improving the employee experience in previous roles. Keen to learn more about how others are addressing this but am open to all topics.
Goals: Aiming to meet and connect with new people and learn together.
Fun Facts: I have 19 uncles and aunties so have had a decent chance when traveling of going to a country where one of them lives or lived!
Im based in Sydney and will be at X4 Sydney in a few weeks time. If anyone is in the area and planning to head along please come to the community area and say hi!
Thanks
Pete
Hi, @PeterMc and @XM_JoshB , and good to see you here @JamesScutt and @SteveBelgraver ! It’s been a while but I’m excited about the new community and will make an intro here!
Background: I’ve been with the National Library of Medicine -- the world’s largest biomedical library -- and along with my team started and built our CX program into one of the most robust in the federal government. I came to NIH after working in research roles for consulting firms, trade associations, and companies.

Interests: I feel passionately about using CX to understand and improve the experiences that people have with our collections and products at NLM, particularly now. I’m also an advocate for using data visualization to make insights and ideas clear for different audiences. I’m also a baseball researcher and a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) -- yes, I’m one of those “sabermatricians” that you’ve heard about!

Goals: continuing to refine and build NLM’s CX and analytics practice by refreshing dashboards and other tools, and building my data visualization skills while also mentoring people in dataviz through my teaching at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Fun Facts: I have a cabinet full of baseball bobbleheads in my office. They don’t come out to play all that often. We also have a Pomeranian-chihuahua mix named Luci who is an adorable fireplug!
I’m based in the Washington, DC area and look forward to connecting (or reconnecting) with you!
