Head of Experience Community // Leaders Network

Hello! I just had a fabulous time at X4.

Here is my introduction:

  • 💁 Background: I have been involved with Employee Experience Management for over 5 years at my current organization. I currently work in People Analytics as a Sr Principle Analyst,  managing our lifecycle surveys, providing analysis of our employee sentiments and other analytical support involving HR data.
  • 🎵 Interests: I am very keen to explore sentiment and trend shifts as employees move through their journey in our organization and how we might best influence their experiences to be more positive.
  • ⛳️ Goals: I would love to learn more best practices from those managing best in class Employee XM programs.
  • 🎈 Fun Facts: I have two movie accurate Captain America costumes I wear to children’s hospitals for charity events. I am also a military retiree, having spent over 20 years working for the US Army.

Hi Folks!

here’s my quick intro:

  • 📜 Background: I currently work as a Senior Delivery Manager for NTT DATA. I've fulfilled a number of B2B Service Management roles in the enterprise telco and service integrator space over the past 15+ years. My passion for Experience Management was ignited 6 years ago when I gained Forrester's CX Professional certification which was complemented by XM Fundamentals certification in 2022. I strive to meet client expectations by continually engaging across the different internal silos to ensure we can deliver on our promises.
  • 💙 Interests: I enjoy learning new things about Experience Management and being part of different XM communities. I remain very keen on taking a client journey approach in my work by engaging with the different business units to ensure the smoothest journey possible for our clients. My time is also spent on advocating the Outer Loop to realise the potential to continuously improve the way we work for ever better outcomes. And finally I'm particularly interested on where the worlds of Service & Experience Management intersect as I strongly believe these two frameworks have incredible complementary potential
  • 🎯 Goals: gaining another XM certificate would be cool to have under my belt. Another objective is to add a publication to my admittedly modest online article collection. Time & budget permitting I also aim to attend upcoming Experience Management events in my neighborhood.
  • 😁 Fun Facts: I've circled the globe by having lived and worked on 3 continents: North America, Asia and Europe and speak 4 languages. I like going for long walks with the family dog or long bike rides with friends like the 400+ mile ride last summer island hopping off the coast of Seattle. Even though I love pizza I still have not mastered the basics of being able to make a good crust!

Hi everyone

  • 🖥️ Background: I have recently joined Qualtrics and will be working in the community team so you will see more of me around these forums. My background is in Ed tech with an interest in social learning. I have worked in the community space for the past 5 years and look forward to continuing to build this community with you all.
  • 🎵 Interests: I am new to Experience Management as a category though I have worked a bit around understanding and (hopefully) improving the employee experience in previous roles. Keen to learn more about how others are addressing this but am open to all topics.
  • ⛳️ Goals: Aiming to meet and connect with new people and learn together.
  • 🎈 Fun Facts: I have 19 uncles and aunties so have had a decent chance when traveling of going to a country where one of them lives or lived!

Im based in Sydney and will be at X4 Sydney in a few weeks time. If anyone is in the area and planning to head along please come to the community area and say hi!

Thanks
Pete

Hi, @PeterMc and @XM_JoshB , and good to see you here @JamesScutt and @SteveBelgraver ! It’s been a while but I’m excited about the new community and will make an intro here!

📜Background: I’ve been with the National Library of Medicine -- the world’s largest biomedical library -- and along with my team started and built our CX program into one of the most robust in the federal government. I came to NIH after working in research roles for consulting firms, trade associations, and companies.

⚾️〽️Interests: I feel passionately about using CX to understand and improve the experiences that people have with our collections and products at NLM, particularly now. I’m also an advocate for using data visualization to make insights and ideas clear for different audiences. I’m also a baseball researcher and a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) -- yes, I’m one of those “sabermatricians” that you’ve heard about!

📈🎯Goals: continuing to refine and build NLM’s CX and analytics practice by refreshing dashboards and other tools, and building my data visualization skills while also mentoring people in dataviz through my teaching at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

🤹🐶Fun Facts: I have a cabinet full of baseball bobbleheads in my office. They don’t come out to play all that often. We also have a Pomeranian-chihuahua mix named Luci who is an adorable fireplug!

I’m based in the Washington, DC area and look forward to connecting (or reconnecting) with you!
